My Story

Welcome to my blog! My name is Shannon Bruce. I am a divorced-single mom to an amazing ten-year old daughter who I refer to as the “catalyst to my extraordinary life.” I am entrepreneurial spirit and as the founder and CEO of Inner Wisdom Coaching Services, I have the privilege of transforming the lives of women every single day as a professional certified coach, mentor, trainer and speaker.

I consider myself a Mompreneur because my role as a Mom is my greatest joy and utmost priority. At the same time, I am the sole provider for my family so leveraging my time and resources to create a thriving and sustainable business is essential. I am also one of those Moms who have more to give when I’m using my gifts not only in service to my family, but also to my community, the workplace and the world. This is why I LOVE working with women who are self-employed entrepreneurs and Mompreneurs who desire to make a greater contribution inside and outside the home, without sacrificing what matters most.

This life-transforming journey started for me when I went through my divorce years ago. I found myself at a crossroads in life having to decide whether I should go back to the corporate world to provide for my family in a more “responsible” and “consistent” way. I had previously left the “rat-race” to pursue my dream of self-employment yet I found myself on my own with a one-year old daughter at the time. After much soul-searching, I took the leap of faith and said “yes” to an uncommon life that has reaped blessings beyond what I could ever have imagined. I’ve now walked this exciting and sometimes overwhelming path for over 8-years. With the learning I’ve gained on this wild adventure, it is my deepest desire to use my authentic gifts, experiences and expertise in service to other women who want a thriving life with a prosperous business at the same time. I want to partner with women like you to assist you individually and in community to rediscover who you are so you can boldly go after your life’s vision with courage, confidence and authenticity.
