Watch Gratitude Go Global – Happy Tweetsgiving!

On November 24th, 2009, by Shannon

ripple effectFor those who know me well, I am impacted by the power I find in the shape of circles. To me, a circle represents the fullness of  giving and receiving as the flow of love moves back and forth between people. From here the circle expands to create a ripple effect touching the hearts and lives of others, as the impact extends beyond the initial circle.

So today, the circle happened for me when I received a great blog message from Jennifer Fong, who you know as my social media mentor. Her post inspired me to complete the circle by giving back to you as we all join together to watch gratitude go global through a movement called Tweetsgiving.

Since I’m all about making a contribution and giving back, I loved the idea shared by Tweetsgiving, which has provided a platform through Social Media to share your answers to the following question, “What are you grateful for?”

In the spirit of Tweetsgiving and watching gratitude go global, I am grateful for:

  • My amazing family who loves me in the beauty and the mess, while  calling me forth to the authentic life I am called to live.
  • My precious daughter Taylor, who has taught me what it means to live life to the fullest, awakening me to the dreams that live deep inside.
  • My tribe of friends and colleagues of WayPoint Coaching Community who continue to remind me that I am enough and there’s more.
  • My circle of wise women who see and hear my heart, who love me  through the struggles and who continue to hold the bigger vision for me.
  • My incredible clients and past clients who inspire me to be more authentic as I watch each one boldly and courageously take a stand to free their hearts and to live their dreams.
  • To the richness of my life that comes through deep connections that can also be light-hearted and playful, bringing purpose, meaning and fun to my world.
  • To my faith which continues to be a touchstone that anchors me in truth, love, light and creativity.

The list really could go on and on because I have so many things to be grateful for. I think its fun to be a part of a global movement, so will you join me in the adventure and share what you’re grateful for? Be sure to post your comments or provide the link to your posts.

tg-tweetsgiving-logo-300x231This post was created as part of a global groundswell of gratitude called TweetsGiving. The celebration, created by US nonprofit Epic Change, is an experiment in social innovation that seeks to change the world through the power of gratitude. I hope you’ll visit the TweetsGiving site to learn more, and to bring your grateful heart by sharing your gratitude, and giving in honor of that for which you’re most thankful.
