Yes I did! I learned what energizes me and drains me, what I can delegate and defer and what my true priorities are. Great learning all the way around!

You did it! Well done! I'm curious--what did you notice as a result of it?

Wow! I wish you lots of luck. I was feeling this exact need this past weekend. It was so hard to unplug!!!!! I didn't do a very good job, but I was more unplugged than usual.

Hi Shannon,

Great article. Unplugging is so important. This morning I sat in our sauna with some quiet music playing and just quieted myself. There is not a lot you can do in an enclosed sauna but be fully present. During that time, I just got very still and focused on centering myself in that "Spacious Place of God's Amazing Grace." He gave me a good idea for how to get this material into a usable form. In fact, I believe it is brilliant. So I'm already working on it! Maybe I'll have something for you when you return.

Hugs,
Marlee

Hi, Shannon -
Excellent note, thank you - I love it! Unplugging is GREAT.

I remember, long before the cell phone when we were all still wired to the walls, we used to unplug our phone at dinner time - especially when we had guests.

It was amazing to see how it made a LOT of people squirm - they couldn't stand the thought that we had done that. (Perhaps they were imagining if THEY were trying to call in...)

rock on!
