Living with Vision
On August 5th, 2009, by“It’s easy to say ”no!” when there’s a deeper ”yes!” burning inside.”–Steven Covey
Imagine what life might be like if you knew your deepest “yes”? Is it possible to have that kind of clarity that acts as a filter between the good, better and best?
Yes! There is a way of living that will keep you from wandering aimlessly without direction. It’s called “living with vision”. The power in this way of living is that you regain your anchor so you can stop flitting from activity to activity, feeling confused, drained and/or ruled by emotions, circumstances and others.
Your vision acts as a compass navigating you through life. It becomes your grounding calm in the swirl of chaos that you experience because the world is moving at such a fast pace.
Defining and modifying your life vision is an ongoing process. Whether you are just getting started or need to reconnect with what matters and where you’re headed, here are some questions that will open your heart to the unique vision that lives within you:
- What would you be doing, right now, today if you had no fear?
- What would you be doing today if you stopped talking yourself out of it?
- What would you start doing if you stopped doubting your doubts?
- What would you attempt to do if you knew you would not fail?
Today is the beginning of a new month and with a new school year on the horizon, it’s the perfect time to cast (or re-cast) your vision.
- So go ahead and do the thing you fear.
- Get clear about what you want.
- “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
- Act by your design, not your default.
- Doubt your doubts.
